Florida Skill Games
Now that the dust is settled, it is time to look back and reflect upon the former Florida Gators who represented the Orange and Blue at the highest level of the sport on the planet. Of those who play at positions that accumulate stats, 28 total UF alumni took to the gridiron this past season for their respective NFL teams — 14 of which featured a former Gator, including a pair of teams that shared one player via trade.
Overall, the cohort of former Gators consisted of six safeties, six cornerbacks, four linebackers, four defensive ends, four wide receivers, one running back, one tight end and one punter. It is pretty easy to see from those numbers why Florida earned the title of “Defensive Back University” over the past decade.
Here is a look at all 28 former Florida Gators who accumulated stats during the NFL’s 2020-21 campaign.
